What is Coaching?
It is a collaborative, solution focused, result-orientated and systematic pro
cess in which the coach facilitates the enhancement of work performance, life experience, self-directed learning and personal growth of the coachee. It is a great vehicle for encouraging self-reflection and reassessing how a client does things through honest conversations that culminate in specific actions. Personal breakthroughs often lead to business breakthroughs, and it can have a profound effect on the individual, and the whole organization. It is a process that unlocks a person’s potential to maximize their own performance. The coach works to help the client learn and unlearn habits, and thought processes. This process can last from one month up to 12months, and requires discipline and thoughtfulness to achieve the behavioral changes desired.
